Mayan Handmade Ponchos" The Huipil"
The huipil is a traditional garment, usually woven on a back-strap loom, and consisting of a rectangular piece of cloth that is folded and stitched at the sides.
The Mayan people of Highland Guatemala are known for their clothing style. Each community has developed its own style, form, pattern, and color that serve as symbols of identity and meaning.
